Mike's alter-ego produces organic electronic music with funky fresh beats. Other than the photography, all graphics are by Mike. The website features a flash music player with streaming mp3s and a slick skyline header. "Westside 102" was Mike's first foray into video production and it's pretty innovative - shot entirely on a Motorola Razr cellphone.

Case Study | Simpson Music
Mike has teamed with his brother Jeff to produce some driving beat-heavy Brit-pop style rock. Jeff's amazing piano-playing and song-writing is supported by Mikooshka's bass-playing, recording, and production. The MySpace page photography is by Mike. The song "Fifty Pounds" is a video shot while walking the streets of Kensington Market, Toronto. The piano was recorded at Sherbourne Studio. Check Jeff's tunes out!

Recent collaborations for Mikooshka with Toronto artist Ulysses Castellanos involved recording the track "Coconut Radio". Recently Mike caught up with Ulysses at his show at Peak Gallery. A short video was recorded and edited for YouTube.
